E.Z. Charge

The simple solution for meals, snacks and beverages on campus

You never have to worry about being hungry and caught without cash with an E.Z. Charge account. E.Z. Charge is the simplest solution for meals, snacks and beverages on campus. It works one of two ways: add money to your Prepaid E.Z. Charge account (most IDs automatically have this without money loaded) at ecard.missouri.edu, or come see us at 900 Virginia to convert to a Pay–as–you–go E.Z. Charge account. You must use any money left on the prepaid account before filling out the form for Pay–as–you–go E.Z. Charge.

Even better, E.Z. Charge is free. There are no hidden costs. Consider these additional benefits.

Is E.Z. charge for you?

Yes! All students, faculty and staff can use E.Z. Charge at any Campus Dining Services (CDS) location and Mizzou Markets. Faculty and staff can even have scheduled deposits withdrawn from their university payroll. Sign up r at the main office (900 Virginia Avenue) to have an account activated.

Choose from two flexible options.

Prepaid E.Z. Charge

  • Debit style account
  • Advanced deposits
  • Great for budgeting
  • Check balance and add funds with a credit card at ecard.missouri.edu
  • Come by 900 Virginia to add funds with cash, check or to charge your university account

Pay-as-you-go E.Z. Charge

  • Credit style account
  • $100/week, up to $400/month, limit
  • Receive a monthly statement or have purchases charged to your monthly University bill
  • Sign up can only be done by filling out a form at any CDS location or the main office at 900 Virginia

How can I add funds to an E.Z. Charge account?

For pre-paid, we recommend that you add about $400 per semester. Every time you make an E.Z. Charge purchase, it deducts from your account. Using the pay-as-you-go option you can charge up to $100 per week at any campus dining location. After you have registered for E.Z. Charge, go to the ecard website to add money to a pre-paid account. To add money as a guest, choose the option labeled "Make Deposit."

Do I forfeit any unused balance in my E.Z. Charge account at the end of the semester?

You don't lose anything! The deposits made into prepaid accounts carry across semesters. When you leave the university, the remaining balance is credited to your university account upon request.
