Last Thursday was the annual Iron Chef competition! The event was held in Bengal Lair, and if you were there, you know how great it was. There were four different teams, each with a CDS chef and three students. Their challenge was to complete two dishes, including a dessert, in just 30 minutes with goat cheese as the required ingredient.
The four different teams all turned in some phenomenal dishes, including strawberry bruschetta with a balsamic reduction and Spear’s Goat Farm cheese. Samples of the different cheeses present were available, and every person that attended was able to try all of the dishes. Plus they left with a free t-shirt!
The event was so much fun and a really great way to try a bunch of delicious foods all at once. Thanks to everyone that was able to make it out! We hope you had just as much fun as we did. Lastly, congratulations to Billy Goat and the Three Kids, the winning team!
