Last week’s Culinary Discovery Series dinner was Tomato, Tomahto, and it was hosted by Executive Chef Eric Cartwright. The menu included Heirloom Tomato Tasting, Tomato Soup, a Grilled Cheddar sandwich, Fresh Linguine with Smoked Marinara, Salad of Haricot Verts, Tomato Confit, and Chive Oil, a Tomato-Braised Beef Short Rib served with Cauliflower Mash, and for dessert a Spiced Tomato Soup Cake. The sold-out crowd learned a lot about tomatoes, and ate a lot of them, too!
