Campus Dining Services and Residential Life at the University of Missouri are hosting a Grand Opening and Open House to celebrate the completed renovation at Mark Twain Residence Hall and The MARK on 5th Street dining facility. Tours of the Mark Twain Residence Hall and The MARK on 5th Street will start at 11:30 a.m. and conclude at 1:30 p.m. Refreshments and sample menu items from The MARK on 5th Street will be provided.

Mark Twain closed for renovation in 2011 and housed 395 residents at that time. The renovated Mark Twain Residence Hall will house 380 residents and now has larger community and study spaces available to the residents. The new dining room seats over 250, and the floor–to–ceiling windows provide abundant natural light. The MARK on 5th Street’s main focus is the deli, which provides more variety for sandwiches and wraps than any other deli on campus.

Join us tomorrow afternoon, August 7, to celebrate the opening of Mark Twain and The MARK on 5th Street!
