FAQs

Mizzou Meals are student dining plans purchased in advance for an academic semester. Mizzou Meals use a combination of Tiger Taps and Dining Dollars.

Students use their student IDs to tap-to-pay the cashier at each dining location using either Tiger Taps or Dining Dollars from their dining plan. Taps and/or Dining Dollars are immediately deducted from a student’s plan when they purchase meals and drinks.

Tiger Taps work on a tap-to-pay basis. Tap meals are valid exclusively at The Mark on 5th Steet, Plaza 900 and Restaurants at Southwest (all-you-care-to-eat residential dining locations).  Unused Tiger Taps expire at midnight every Sunday and new taps are loaded at 12:01 a.m.

Dining Dollars work on a flexible spending account with a declining balance. Dining Dollars can be spent at all campus dining halls, markets and retail locations. Plan holders may add unlimited dining dollars at any point during the semester. Dining Dollars roll over by semester if a student maintains a dining plan. Students can check their balance anytime.

Two on-campus meal plans include Tap meals (AYCTE access); one is Dining Dollars only. This structure improves clarity, great value and ease of de4cision-making for families. Dining plans are accepted at more than 20 locations across campus.

Campus Dining Services streamlined Mizzou Meal plans from five options to three. Plans are built around real student eating habits, offering quality food and flexible choices.

Plans include 9, 12, or 19 meals per week of equivalents. You can find the dining plans for students who live on campus listed on the Dining Plans page.
